With a CoolPeel, while often unnecessary, your provider may offer numbing cream or cold air for comfort. A full-face CoolPeel can take between 5 – 15 minutes. A more intense, ablative CO2 treatment can take longer and require additional analgesics.
After your CoolPeel, your skin may be red and warm for a day or two. You can resume normal daily activities during this time. As your skin heals, it may feel dry and scaly, so it’s important to keep it hydrated.
For Tetra PRO, consult your provider about your specific settings and what you can expect. Your provider may use a combination of CoolPeel and deeper settings along the same area.
